Confession: My heavenly intentions for Thanksgiving are often clobbered by my oh-so-real life.

I would love to be preparing our hearts all month for gratitude, but I find myself picking up someone else’s rank gym socks. I would love to be stuffing a jar with slips of paper declaring our thankfulness, but can tend to stave off a little more teenage complaining instead…?

So I’m hoping to make your gratitude and mine a touch easier with these Thanksgiving printables.

You game?

Kids’ Thanksgiving Printables

First, grab this free printable Thanksgiving BINGO board pictured above. Some small acts of service and gratitude are thrown in there…as well as other ideas to make the time before dinner fly. You might have a small incentive for the winners!

For older elementary/middle schoolers, here’s a printable crossword for them to look up gratitude-related Scripture verses. (…Same recommendation for the incentive. I’m all about ’em.)

I’m happy to pass on these links from Personal Creations, who have put together 30 turkey crafts for kids. They also included three printables: build a turkey, paper cup turkey and (my fave) an I am thankful for fill-in-the-blank, which makes it even easier to chat about before the Thanksgiving feast.

Scripture Art Thanksgiving Printables

My family needs Thanksgiving this year. (Every year, really.)

We need the constant twisting of our internal zoom lens to the gifts God keeps handing us in a year of chaos and loss.

A few verses here and there? They help.
